While in Zimbabwe, our founder couldn’t use his mobile money account because the two mobile money networks were not working together.
We began to research possible solutions and hence WAKA was born.
We created our team, registered our start-up in Switzerland and in Tanzania. Currently finalizing our MVP.
1) Summer launch of the MVP in Tanzania and Kenya 2) Prove product market fit and initial traction
3) Full rollout in Tanzania and Kenya with MM licenses and stablecoins
